Market development planning, administrative and technical services on the on-going process of the development of mining activity in Albania, under the Consultancy Agreement with ?Stone Production Ltd?; Land use identification on GIS format, preparation of technical and legal documents for the removal of forest area, expected to be impacted from mining activity; Identification of the terrain for mining waste disposal; drafting and approval from the responsible authorities of the waste management plan.

Identification of land use (forest and pasture area, and agricultural land) occupied from Mining Area No.862/2, 03.04.2015, in Melova, Skrapar Municipality, on both Excel and GIS format; data processing and calculation of the land use area impacted according to the national cadastral data of forest/pasture fund and agricultural land; determination of the relevant legal-administrative procedure and associated cost for the removal of forest/pasture area and change the status of agricultural land to construction land.

Study on the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the exploitation of limestone deposit in Melova mining area, Skrapar Municipality. The ESIA study is performed in 2013 and revised on 2018 as per the new regulations in force for the environmental protection in Albania, and specifically for mining quarries. ESIA is associated with a rehabilitation plan for the mining area and the waste disposal site.

Assessments reporton the legal and administrative procedures for the planning and development of the limestone-marble mining area in Melova area, Skrapar Municipality. The permits and authorisations are described respectively for the planning phase (Environmental Permit, Mining Permit etc.) and for the operational phase, by specifying the legal requirements and procedural steps for each permits, as pre-conditions for getting the Mining Permit, based on Albanian legislation in force. During the exploitation of the mining quarry, there are ongoingadministrative steps to be followed by the Client, which are clearly described in the assessment report, like regular reporting to the authorities (i.e. National Authority of Natural Resources, Ministry of Environment, the Authority for the Security and Emergency in the Mines, etc.), regular communication with local authorities, etc. The assessments report is accomplished by early 2012 and updated by 2017.
