Comprehensive Assessment of the regulatory framework per Environmental Impact Assessment in a Trans boundary Context (ESPOO) Convention, considering that Albania signed the ESPOO Convention by early 1991. The assessment sets out the obligations of trans-boundary states to assess the environmental impact of certain activities at an early stage of planning of major projects like TAP project, under the consideration that these projects could possibly have significantenvironmental impact across boundaries. The assessment is completed by 2011.

Comprehensive Assessment of all Health Safety Environmental (HSE) permits relevant for the planning, construction and operation phase of the TAP pipeline system.The comprehensive assessment has the matrix shaped HPR database. The site ofDelvina Thermo-power plant is decided, considering urban planning of the local area, geological and hydrological parameters of the terrain, environmental conditions and land use & land property assessments. These activities are performed during 2012 ? 2013.

Assessments reporton the legal and administrative procedures for the planning and development of the limestone-marble mining area in Melova area, Skrapar Municipality. The permits and authorisations are described respectively for the planning phase (Environmental Permit, Mining Permit etc.) and for the operational phase, by specifying the legal requirements and procedural steps for each permits, as pre-conditions for getting the Mining Permit, based on Albanian legislation in force. During the exploitation of the mining quarry, there are ongoingadministrative steps to be followed by the Client, which are clearly described in the assessment report, like regular reporting to the authorities (i.e. National Authority of Natural Resources, Ministry of Environment, the Authority for the Security and Emergency in the Mines, etc.), regular communication with local authorities, etc. The assessments report is accomplished by early 2012 and updated by 2017.

Study on the Sectorial Integrated Plan (SIP) for the territory planning and development of the oil pipeline project starting from Petro Manez to Petrolifera, Albania; The Sectorial Integrated Plan includes a territory analyse of the pipeline routes alternative selection, considering the technical, environmental, socio-economic parameters, geo-engineering and hydrological data of the route locations, as well as the land use and the land property. SIP is consulted on central and local level with public institutions and communities. These tasks are performed during 2013 ? 2014.

Study on the possible interference of onshore section of Trans Adriatic Pipeline with existing hydropower and mining concessions, as identified in the National Sectorial Plan for TAP project, proposal for necessary re-routings of onshore pipeline. The economic analyse is performed in this study also, comparing the project cost increase from the several alternatives of the negotiation with the holders of the mining concession/s versus the opportunity for the rerouting of the onshore pipeline of TAP Project. This study is performed during 2014 - 2015.

Study on theStrategic Environmental Assessment(SEA) for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline project, to the support of the Ministry of Energy and Industry. SEA shows the likely significant effects of TAP Project on the environment and the reasonable alternatives of the proposed territorial planning is identified. The public and the environmental authorities are informed and consulted on the draft National Sectorial Plan for TAP project and the SEA report prepared; MEI supported the Ministry of Energy and Industry for the organising of public hearing and consultation processes. These tasks are performed on 2013.

Assessment report on the classification of drill cuttings wastes, as produced during the drilling of petroleum exploration wells Shpirag 2 and Molisht 1 of Petromanas Albania, and specific regulations in Albania for their treatment and disposal. The assessment includes the regulatory framework in Albania for waste disposal and treatments and an analyse of the drill cutting wastes, identifying the possible risk and hazard wastes, the treatment methodology and procedural steps for final disposal, referring to the standards applicable in Albania.

Study on theEnvironmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the construction of Delvina Thermo power plant, examining the anticipated environmental effects of a proposed project since in the early phase of planning the project. The EIA study includes the identification of environmental impacts and measures to mitigate them; findings of EIA study are consulted with community and their comments are properly integrated in the document, already approved by responsible authorities. These tasks are performed during 2012 ? 2013.

The ESIA study is performed in 2013 and revised on 2018 as per the new regulations in force for the environmental protection in Albania, and specifically for mining quarries. ESIA is associated with a rehabilitation plan for the mining area and the waste disposal site.

Dyue diligence report on the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) assessment to the purpose of the acquisition process for one business activity in Albania, operating in the manufacturing sector. The report goes through the HSE monitoring process of the business activity in Albania, considering all the relevant HSE regulatory framework in force. The Due diligence report is accomplished on 2017.

Management Plan for the deposit of mining wastes generating from mining activity of marble limestone exploration in the Melova area, Skrapar Municipality; site design principles for waste disposal are optimized by mine engineers depending on specific site conditions,terrain and land specifics, the distance from the quarry and the distances from the urban road, the land property status and the environmental impact assessment of the disposals. The mining wastes of Melova mine because of their physical and chemical composition, their potential for environmental contamination, and how they are managed at mine sites are considered non-hazardous materials.
